Due to BopComments' stripping, the language tags were being removed, making the description tag not show its contents in the correct language. The trucating was also cutting all descriptions at 125 characters, so even though the language tags were there, it'd not show it in the others languages for long contents.

So, I commented out the lines for stripping and trucating, and now was trying to make trucating through smarty directly on the RSS template like this:

<description><{$item.description|truncate:128:"...":true}></description>

But I'm getting the following error message:

I know this has nothing to do with EMLH, but still, I wonder if anyone has any clue of why it's not working in this tag.
