Maybe Zombie means that his web hosting service does not allow locating files outside the web root.

If that's the case, can XOOPS_TRUST_PATH be set the same as XOOPS_ROOT_PATH? Or can XOOPS_TRUST_PATH be a subdirectory of XOOPS_ROOT_PATH?

I know that's not best for security, but it may be the only option in this case.
