I can see that yours is working correctly. I also tried adding recurring events, and it worked fine.

Hmmm ... what should I check for in my setup/server settings?

PS
How come I can't select dates from the pop-up calendar (ie when adding/editing events)? I can"t do it on opera thou it's ok on k-meleon? Is it a browser specific problem?

the sample recurring event in my site shows:

would you have an idea why i have two (in blue) time shcedules on my site while there's only one in yours?

if your xoops server timezone setting the same as your default timezone?
