I'm not sure if I have a setting wrong, or if this is a bug. I posted to xoops.org, but figured it would be wise to post here.

I'm using the latest myAlbum-P (2.84) on Xoops 2.2.2 with PHP5. Everything is working except that I can't alter security. I can personally upload/edit, delete as webmaster, but I can't grant ANY permissions to anyone or even change my own.

When I check something and save, it says permissions successfully applied, however, I see no information that it's altering any tables. When I return to the Global Permissions, it shows the old settings.

One more thing, if I try to go to Blocks&Groups Admin it gives me a blank page. I see nothing in the install or readme instructions saying I need to configure anything. I can currently post as webmaster, but nobody can even submit anything let alone superpost.

Thanks in advance - great little module!

Though I don't have time to check the compatibilities among XOOPS 2.2 and myAlbum-P, you can try to install the latest myblocksadmin to myAlbum-P.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what that will buy me. How does it help me with changing permissions? Isn't that for block management? Sorry, I'm still pretty newbified and the loss of the documentation at xoops.org isn't helping... I'm sort of leaping feet first.

Try myAlbum-P 2.90alpha.

If you've already used myAlbum-P, you'd better install it as myalbum0.

GiJoe, I tossed it on (this is still a beta site) and just updated my system to the 2.9 alpha. Looks like permissions are "sticking" now as expected. Not only that but block/group administration works as well.

I've noticed one thing, I have a block to show recent photos with 6 pics in 3 colums. It has simply changed to show 2 pictures total in 2 columns. I changed nothing. I'll see if I can "reset it" somehow or try a few patterns to see if I can get you more data.

Update: I tried a few more things, including deleting and readding the block. It limits me to a maximum of 2 pictures regardless of columns. I'm having my users test to see if they can now post pictures.

Cheers!
