I can see that this topic has been discussed several times before, but, the fixes explained for PHP 5,etc. and uninstall the old version and install the new version don't work for me.
I have xlhd 2.93, running xoops 2.0.7.3
Elegant Home Decorating Ideas is my website.
The error message is:
Quote:
I've tried hard setting the encoding, to no avail.
I turned on mysql debug, and here are the results from the debug window:

Please help me troubleshoot this, and if you need admin access just PM me, or leave a message at the web site for the owner/webmaster.
Many Thanks!
Don
P.S. I know nothing about PHP, so, if you want me to run something like phpinfo(); I'm going to need an actual PHP file/program. I don't know the syntax, and really don't care to learn.
Thanks again!
Well, you try to use
- non-RSS source
-not-existent page
as feed
What you want to get?! On about.com XML button can be easy found and XML located in different place
http://z.about.com/6/nl/rss/todaysl.xmland this link works, as you can see at my
Modules Proving Ground
Okay, the website URL is:
http://interiordec.about.com/On that page is an XML button, whose link is:
http://interiordec.about.com/gi/pages/stay.htmThat leads you to a page that shows how you can grab the headlines for email, Yahoo and RSS. Under the RSS heading is another XML button that has the following link, which is what I attempted to use.
http://z.about.com/6/g/interiordec/b/index.xmlSo, what you seem to be telling me is that About.com has an incorrect link? Maybe, but, if so, what is the correct link and how would one find it? I'm only interested in the Interior Decorating articles.
Thanks for your help.
BTW,
I also have a similar problem for Topix.Net and the URI:
http://rss.topix.net/rss/home/decorating.xmlThe URL for that is:
http://www.topix.net/home/decoratingSincerely,
Don
Both seem to work now. Not sure what the glitch was. Maybe cache had not aged out?
In any case, thanks.
