I was running MyAlbum-P without any problems until recently. Now, it won't create any new thumbnails. I'm using XOOPS 2.0.7 and the latest version of MyAlbum-P (2.8.3 I believe).

I have a fairly deep directory structure for MyAlbum-P, but that wasn't a problem before.

I did have some problems in trying to use duplicate copies of TinyContent (the duplicatable version, of course), and have removed the extra TinyContent modules. (I still have one module running normally.)

When I try to register a photo, all I get in response is a blank browser page. Is this normal?

I have tried rebuilding the thumbnails, but to no avail. In fact, when I try to rebuild them, all I get is one line about a given JPEG and nothing else.

Any ideas on what might be wrong and what I can do to fix the problem?

Blank page means some errors.

Tell me the result after you turn "PHP debug" on.

This is the place.
your admin -> system -> preferences -> general ->debug mode

Now this is weird.

Not seeing your message above until today (Aug. 28), I decided to turn thumbnail creation off, and it worked well enough that way. Since creation of thumbnails on the fly was a little slow, however, I reduced the size of the thumbnails from a width of 140 to 100. Things were working very smoothly at that point.

Today, after seeing your message, I turned on PHP debug and tried regenerating thumbnails to see the debug code. Guess what? No problems. I also tried uploading a photo and that also worked.

Since everything is working again, I guess I don't need your help, but this was kind of strange...

Anyway, thanks for a great module and keep up the good work.

I have the same problem. It only appears when I set "Make thumb image" option to yes. I turned php debuging, and this is what I got:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreatefromjpeg() in /usr/home/web/public_html/newsite/html/modules/myalbum/include/functions.php on line 114

hi IsamuM.

It sounds good.

Perhaps, some values of preferences was recorded wrongly.

Anyway, enjoy Xoopsing!

Your PHP does not support GD.
To creating thumbnails, One of GD,ImageMagick,NetPBM is necessary at least.

If your PHP allows exec functions, try NetPBM binary.
