Information about XOOPS_TRUST_PATH written in english can be found on xoops-tips.com. The idea behind XOOPS_TRUST_PATH is to secure the system and to make the module dublicateable by moving the module-files out of the module folder to a centralized place where all duplications can get access to.
I'm not an expert and still learning so I hope these information are correct.

For me it gets also much clearer now.
Visually mapstructure done by GIJOE in combination of the very understandable tutorial from TL.
As soon as I find time I'll translate this into Dutch with the images from GIJOE. It is important to know.
