Perhaps you could do it with permissions.
Calendar View A lists all posts by this person or group, and View B lists all posts by a different person/group.
Admin group can see all posts.
Maybe it requires editing the sql query statement for getting/displaying events.
It can be solved if a plugin for a rss reading module exists.
Yes, "What's New" can extract the info from piCal, and it seems like there is an option to read RRS from piCal
(see here...), but the question remains - how could I read into one central calendar data from several calendars on different Websites, where each entry from these individual calendars would go into a category representing that particular calendar?
In other words - I have a company calendar, and each division has it's own calendar on a separate Website. In the company calendar I would like to consolidate those separate division calendars, so when user goes to the company calendar he can see events from all divisions.
Hi Salsero,

is it possible to consolidate several calendas into one?
As a precondition, you should have several different calendars. Therefore it's necessary piCal hack.

It's a terrific idea as alternatives.
I think that "whatsnew module" enables it.
Hi Heidi,

I may not understand what you want to do.
If you want to install the second piCal in the "http://greenhopehigh.wcpss.net" directory, it is possible.
The version since piCal0.7 can duplicate this module.
I recommend you to read "README file" again.
Hi all -
I am wondering if this is an easy or difficult thing to do. I am running the wonderful calendar on my school's site at:
http://greenhopehigh.wcpss.net. I need to have a completely differerent calendar in a subdirectory of the site at:
http://greenhopehigh.wcpss.net/media.Do I need to install Pical in that media subdirectory?
Is there an easy way to do this? Any advice any one can give would be greatly appreciated!
