Is there a way to have multiple calendars?

Days are getting a bit crowded. With events and i would like to display per calendar/year/month/day by definable groups... (e.g. by State or orgranization)

Also is there a way to have a section for adding or assigning People Resources...(e.g. speakers, camera men, clean up crew, etc.)
