Hi GIJoe,

First, thank you for all your XOOPs contributions. I have used Protector 2.52 for a year, and the bad guys have bounced off. I recently upgraded to 2.57.

However, this message is about Sitemap 1.29a. I am having a problem and thought that you might have some ideas about what I am doing wrong. Recently, I installed Sitemap 1.29a. It works nicely, and Google accepts my sitemap. The problem, if it is one, is that the contents of the User Menu also show up in the sitemap for both webmasters and registered users. While this seems a bit odd, it is acceptable. My preference would be to supress this, as I have with certain other excluded modules.

However, whenever a webmaster or registered user logs out, the User Menu persists in both the regular User Menu and the user menu contents in the sitemap -- even thought the system issues a confirmation of the logout.

I have not been able to track down the cause after hours, so that is why I am posting here. (I am self-trained and only have one XOOPs site, so there are a lot of holes in my knowledge.) I believe that I have followed all module configuration instructions. I have searched the XOOPS main site and PEAK XOOPS, without finding a solution. What might I have overlooked?

Here is more information about my environment:

XOOPs 2.0.15 installation, which seems to work well for about 10 modules. Debug shows no problems. (Upgraded from 2.0.12a to 2.0.14 to 2.0.15)

mysql Ver 14.12 Distrib 5.0.24

PHP 4.4.1

Simplified URLs installed and works with all modules. Sitemaps are excluded, but tested both ways.

Protector 2.57 installed and works. I tested this User Menu logout situation with Protector on and off, and it makes no difference. (I did not expect that it would have anything to do with this, but you provide the feature to turn it off when debugging, so I did.)

Thank you for any ideas that you (or anyone else) might have.
