情報ありがとうございます。その後いろいろ調べまして・・・。どうやらドットで始まるファイルは書き換えできないみたいです。ですが、FTPソフトからなら書き換えできるということがわかりました。試してみたらOKでした。

書き換えられたのはいいのですが、今度は５００ Internal server error というエラーが出てページ自体が表示されなくなってしまいました。しかたなくhtaccess.rewriteに書き戻してページラップしたｈｔｍｌをホームに選択して表示させると以下の内容が出てきます。英語で書いてあるように、サンプル画像が見れたら成功したことになるんでしょうけど、画像は表示されてないので成功してないってことなんですよね・・・。

本で読んだ限りではそれほど難しそうじゃなかったのでできるかなと思ったんですが・・・はぁ・・・。どなたか分かる方ご教授お願いいたします。

P.S ちなみにこれ、Xaioを使ってローカルで試しています。そもそもこれはサーバー上でしか試せないものなんでしょうか？？？
