I also have problems runing xhld 2.99 using a french rss feed :

I'm runing easyphp on windows XP. php version 4.3.3 and apache 1.3.27.
iconv support is enabled (iconv library version 1.8 - libiconv).

I read all the posts and check-out french encodings with ISO-8859-15 in headlinerenderer.php + admin.php config within language directory.

I should not be far from finding what's wrong, but so far I'm stuck for fews days, so I hope to find some help on posting here. I'm not so smart in php and programing side, I'm a code copy/paster type of guy.

for info, I had xlhd 2.99 runing on a Linux Server with apache. and everything is fine with this particular feed URI.
