firstly, im not an experienced user and may have made a stupid mistake somewhere.

I wanted to install d3forum on a site im making, I defined xoops_trust_path and copied the files for altsys and d3 forum into the trust path and xoops path.

But then my site died so i cannot even access the admin page to install the modules, i get the following messages

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/******/public_html/modules/protector/class/protector.php on line 45

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/******/public_html/modules/protector/include/precheck.inc.php on line 46

any ideas what i could have done wrong?

protector was installed and working fine before I tried to install these
