Very nice module overall. I've been having one problem though on duplicate entries. It doesn't happen all the time, but so far, it happens if I make a recurring appointment and then specify the recurrence as:

* By Month, specifying a specific day of the month
* By Month, specifying last weekday of month
* By week, every 2 weeks

It duplicates the event on the first day of the recurring appointment.

However, it didn't do this on:

* By Month, Xth weekday of the month (2nd Sat, 2nd Tue, 4th Wed all worked fine without errors).

Is there a code fix somewhere for this, or should I try to provide one? It doesn't appear to be linked to the "summer time" issue (aka Daylight Savings Time)

Thanks for any help or direction so I can fix this.

I can't see what you mean.

Please report it with real examples.

eg)
event start: 2005-1-1 9:00
event end: 2005-1-1 17:00
recur: Every last Sunday of month

Sounds sort of like a problem I'm getting with events that are set to recur. In the Monthly Calendar block, events are listed twice. The first instance links to the event detail, and the second links to a page with the whole day's events listed. e.g.:

Sunday School
Morning Worship
Sunday School
Morning Worship

The first two have a black dot before them, the second two have a blue 3D circle before them. So it's listing the day's events twice, with different functions for each of the two instances.

You can see it at FBC Farmington

Is there a setting I missed to turn off one instance or the other?

It's just a problem of usage of plugins.

remove or disable piCal's plugin for monthly in plugin's manager.

Great! That fixed the problem. I'm still learning this module, and like it TONS better than the old one I was using.

Rock on, Joe!

Unfortunately, even with version 0.87, I don't have a fix. Here is one example for weekly post where it duplicates on the first occurence. Look at June 6th. It's showing the same thing twice. Here is a monthly one, too. June 1st (Water Tower PAC) for a 2-week version. Look at August 29 for a Monthly version (WPNA Exec). The funny thing is that Aug 13th (Membership Meeting) is a monthly recurring meeting as well, but doesn't have the same problem, strangely enough.

It's a great module overall, but sure would like to see this fixed. I'm still using it because it's the best. Some day, I may even have time to look into it.

It looks a bug in extracting the recurring rule.
But I cannot say it will be fixed soon, sorry.
