hello, i have been looking for security for my site and installed protector. a few weeks later I found that a guest tryed to DoS attack my site. I was happy to find nothing happened to my site. What I would like to find is a more detailed log that may give what port the attack came over and what type of DoS attack. Im searching the forum but i may have missed a post with the info. thankyou in advance for your reply and thank you for protector.

hi

Perhaps, you misunderstood about DoS attack.

Protector can only detect DoS attack against XOOPS site.
Thus, the probing port is 80 or 443 normally.

You can find the DoS attack in admin of Protector.
If you want to see more detail, check http access log.

eg) /home/.../log/access.log
