Hi Gijoe,
1/ I'm wondering to know if error is in this http://www.afai.fr/backend.php3 rss feed or in xhld !
Each news, which contains an [ ' ], like [l'auditeur], does not display properly eg like [l?auditeur].
do you have any idea what's wrong with this feed ?
2/ as I use ISO-8859-15 option, I turn into a blank page (under french environment)

The RSS looks an invalid format.
And you'd better check the PHP environment.
iconv is necessary to convert ISO-8859-15 <=> UTF-8.

where can I get iconv and where shall I install it ?

Don't you know how to display phpinfo() ?
Anyway, xconv can't be used for this purpose.
iconv will be "MUST" php-module to use coding-set other than ISO-8859-1 and UTF-8.

I see you don't have iconv.
Then, all you have to do is remove language/french/headlinerenderer.php
Although I don't know the differences between ISO-8859-1 and ISO-8859-15, it will be better set ISO-8859-1 manually for a feed with ISO-8859-15.
