Hi. I am a newbie at xoops. I would like to add multiple custom fields to myalbum_p in my xoops installation but I have no idea where to begin. I have tried editing the template but have ended up with a complete mess. If anyone has any idea, please help me.

I'm sorry. Perhaps I wasn't clear on what exactly I wanted. Let me try to elaborate.
When you view myalbum_p on your page, you see the title of the image, submitter, last update, hits, etc. When you go to the page where the actual image is displayed, the same details appear.
When you click on the edit button (or when you try to submit a new photo) you come to a page with fields such as title, description, category. select photo, etc.
What I would like to know is whether there is any way to edit the template such that when I open the edit window, I have more fields available in addition to "title" and "description". These fields ought to be customized to fit my needs e.g. I might want to add a field called "camera" where I would add the name of the camera used. When I fill in the details, I want them to be displayed along with the other details on the image listing as well as on the image display page. In case you know how that can be done, please let me know. Thank you.

Hi, That's exactly what am I doing now....
So far, I have modified 21 myalbum-p modules files and the task is not completed yet.

The drawback of hacking the code for extra fields is that upgrad to new version of myalbum-p is no longer possible.
