I have just downloaded and trying to configure my headlines but getting the following error,

Failed saving data to database for headline BBC
XmlParse error: SYSTEM or PUBLIC, the URI is missing at line 1

I would really appreciate if someone will domonstrate a test entry for configuring a headline of bbc. I mean what should be entered in URL, URI of RSS or ATOM and other filed if need to set any value. Sorry for all thia as I am quite new in this area so struggling in such things. I am also trying to know that how to find RSS or ATOM from any site like bbc.com?

Perhaps it is NOT RSS nor ATOM.
Write the URI here.

Now I have installed Xoops and this module on a Linux server and here I have following issues,

URL = http://news.bbc.co.uk/
URI of RSS or ATOM = http://newsrss.bbc.co.uk/rss/newsonline_world_edition/front_page/rss.xml#

Type of feed = Auto

As I have enabled PHP debug so at the bottom of page an error dispalys,

Notice [PHP]: unserialize() failed at offset 0 of 5 bytes in file kernel/configitem.php line 99

Please guide me so I am very much anxious about configuring Headlines.

There are no problem with the URI and xhld.
It works perfectly.

Perhaps, it's just your server's problem.
eg) the server can't access outside or kills socket connection of php.

You are right GIJOE the problem was with proxy authentication. Thanks for your responses.
