i am using protector 2.40

will upgrading to xoops 2.0.10 rc cause any issues?

In Protector 2.4, the default value of this option is disabled.


Patches for XOOPS <= 2.0.9.2

I'm sorry that I've never tested 2.0.10RC yet.
Of course, I know I must check it.

hi skara.

As I wrote in the other thread, protector gives you independent protections.
And you can turn on/off the protections separately.

Thus, it is a differenct issue between "using protector" and "updating the core".

Of course, the option "Patch for XOOPS <= 2.0.9.2" should be turn off if you use XOOPS 2.0.10.

At least, I've never found a vulnerablity which exists in 2.0.10 but doesn't exist in 2.0.9.2
