Hy,
nice module that refreshs xoopsheadlines !
1/ I've translated it into french, where can I send you files ?
2/ I can't fetch http://grandcercle.etu.inpg.fr/spip/backend.php3,
("XmlParse error: xml declaration not at start of external entity at line 2")
why ?
3/ Moreover, Debug Mode said :
- Warning [PHP]: array_slice(): The first argument should be an array in file c:\program files\easyphp1-7\www\test\modules\xhld0\class\headlinerenderer.php line 280
Warning [PHP]: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in file c:\program files\easyphp1-7\www\test\modules\xhld0\class\headlinerenderer.php line 281
when I'm in http://www...../modules/xhld0/, eg in index page

+ to prevent conflict with xoopsheadline, why not modify your constant with module prefix
ex: change _MI_HEADLINE_xxx with _MI_PEADLINE_xxx

I don't have the good tongue to explain it in English.
If you can't understand it, left it blank.
Some perl experts can understand it.

I don't think about compatibilities about XoopsHeadline.
All I have to say is
"Uninstall XoopsHeadline, right now."
XoopsHeadline is vulnerable, buggy, and slow.
