The feature to be able to upload files can cause security prolems.
Thus it won't be on my todo list until piCal-1.0 released.

I too require the facility ot upload files while creating a new event. I use version 0.8. Is version 1.0 still being developed?

In my case I will only be allowing registered users to attach files to new events all of which are members of an actual organisation so if anyone uploaded a malicious file they would be expelled from the organisation. So for me the secuirty is not too much of a worry.

I know I have to release piCal-1.0 in this year.
It will be merged with achiCal.

And I shall not add the feature of file attachment into piCal.

I'll release fully featured "Attachment Manager" (Perhaps it is based of myAlbum-P)

You can attach files into any modules including piCal.
