I have 2 questions regarding myalbum.

I am yet to download the latest version and have been happy with 2.75, can I just install over the old?

I would like to also start a photo contest. I have a dog site.
Currently myalbum is used by members and I have in use random photo.
I want to be able to also show recent photos in a contest I wish to start "best photo for the month" on the front page.

Any suggestions as to how I could apply this would be much appreciated
Would it be best say to install a second module and have recent photo's from the contest on diplay?
