At first, why do you use GD2?
It can make enough thumbnails.

And you should check the path installed NetPBM.
myAlbum-P just says there is no file named jpegtopnm etc. in the directory /www/netpbm/root/usr/local/pbm/bin/.

I am running xoops version 2 and myalbum version 2.7 on my webserver http://ww.shipspotting.com with about 13.500 images posted. I really enjoy Myalbum, but all of a sudden I got the bandwith problems, since I was not aware that I did not generated thumbnails. To solve this I have read your postings on this site on NetPBM and Imagemagic and done the following:

1. I have not used the thumbnail generator in Myalbum - xoops module. So it uses the full image as thumbnail and it generate a lot of slowliness and bandwith problems.

2. I need to install NetPBM or Imagemagic in an executable mode on my server and configure it in Myalbum module in Xoops.

3. I have uploaded both the windows and Sparc ver.9 of NetPBM to my webserver host and also configured it in Myalbum module in Xoops. It does not work. I think it is because I have not configured NetPBM on the webserver maybe??

Do I have to configure Netpbm on my server?
