I am an idiot!!! I see it now - thanks a lot GIJOE!! I don't know why, but I was not expecting a delete button, but rather a delete hyperlink, and, to use a well known English phrase 'I could not see the wood for trees'!!

Thanks a lot my friend

hi Ted.

Can you see the icon http://www.peak.ne.jp/xoops/modules/myalbum/images/editicon.gif in your myAlbum-P ?

Thanks GIJOE, and sorry for the incorrect posting in this forum.

I have already allocated my user group the following permissions :

'Super Edit'
'Super Post'
'Super Delete'

But there is nowhere for them to click to be able to delete their picture submission? If I have understood you correctly, what you are saying is that my users SHOULD be able to delete because they have 'super edit' permissions?

Thanks

hi tedsmith.

"Super Delete" means permission for deleting his post without admin's admission.

And the permission of deletion depends on the permission of editing.
If you want to add the del-perm to someone, you should add edit-perm to him.

p.s. This is myAlbum-P instead of MyAlbum.
They are much different each other.

MyAlbum Module - anyone know what the 'Super Delete' in the Global Permissions is for? I guess it allows the poster to delete their pictures (which is what I want for a specific user group) but when I tick it to enable it there is no 'delete' option for the users, other than in Module Admin, which I'd rather they didn't have.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ted
