I'm hoping you can help me. I've installed the PiCal 0.6 module, and have been using it for the last 2 months. It's been working perfectly up until now... when I create a new event and hit the "New Insert" button, the page goes blank and doesn't refresh.

If I navigate my way back to the calendar on my site, I can see the event has been posted.

I have less than 30 events submitted ... many which are recurring and this happens in both IE and Netscape.

Any advice you can give would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Kristine

Sounds like you have an error that is occuring that is preventing the page from displaying properly.

You should try turning on PHP Debug in Xoops by going to Preferences | General Settings (Make sure to turn your site off while doing the debugging).

Once debug mode it on, you'll notice messages appearing on your pages. Go back to piCal and insert a new event. Where you were getting your blank page, see if any message now appear.

Thank you for replying...

I turned on the PHP debug and attempted to insert a new event.. and still got a blank page with no refresh at www.mysite.com/modules/piCal/index.php

Now when I navigated back to my home page... the new event was inserted. And it has no problems refreshing when I delete events.

Any ideas? Thanks again for your help!

Sorry... it's a private website. What I meant to impart is the page it's hanging on...

Instead of reloading the calendar showing the new event, it just shows a blank page.

Any ideas?

Thanks again,

Kristine

Perhaps, a module or hack which has a bug wrong outputting was released recently.
Can you tell me the names of modules or hacks recently installed.

To prevent it shortly, see this post.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier... I thought I had my notification options set to email, and just found your replies to my question.

I went ahead and re-installed pical and now things are working okay... I have another question though, so I'll start a different topic.

Thanks again,

Kristine
