1st let me say that I find PiCal great to work with. I do have a problem that I can't seem to figure out though. Here is a description of how I was able to create the problem:

* Create a RECURRING Event with the following parameters:
* Begins 2005-08-05
* Time 19:00 - 21:00
* Recurs MONTHLY on the "1st Thursday"
* Set until 2005-06-07

The meeting is displayed correctly for Aug-Oct. The problem is that beginning in November the meeting has "moved" to Friday. The event then shows up on Friday until It "moves" back to Thursday beginning in May 2005 again.

I am using PiCal 0.60 beta 4. Any suggestions of where to begin to find the problem would be greatly appreciated.

hi ZySpec.
It looks like the problem of "Summer time".

You can find many posts about it in this site.
Search by "summer time".

I've researched all the messages on the forum but still have been unable to find a solution. I realize this isn't high priority for you in Japan but it makes piCal unusable here.

Here are my timezone settings in the event you do get a chance to look at the problem.

Here is my timezone (TZ) information:
-event's TZ: GMT-6
-XOOPS server TZ: GMT -5 ('EDT')
-XOOPS default TZ: GMT -6
-my xoops user account's TZ: GMT -6

hi ZySpec.

Thank you for writing the conditions.

The reason why the priority is not so high is that I think "Server should set its offseting time as stable ".

Anyway, I know I have to implement it.
