Hi GiJoe,
My setup: altsys 0.52, xoops 2.0.16, php 5.2.0, MySql version 5.0.32
xoops option: Detect template Changes = on.
First of all, thanks for the great module.
I am new to the templates caching stuff and when I have done an update to a template I have either updated the module or deleted the *.php files in templates_c cache.
With altsys I have been updating the templates directly within the altsys templates area editor.
There is a function "Copy Base Files to Default". I have noticed that when the base files are being copied to the DB-default, the cache is not being updated: You have to go into the edit function of each DB-default file and save it to get the cache to be updated. Is this a wanted function?
If so, it would be helpful to include a text at the bottom of the page warning the user to update the cache via.....
If it is not a wanted function... then it just for your bug list

This is a well-known bug in XOOPS 2.0.16
All XOOPS>=2.0.13.2 have not this bug.
Of course, 2.0.16-JP from xoopscube.org has not this bug also.
Just 2.0.14/15/16 from xoos.org are buggy.
how to fix:
