Really dumb question I know, but...

how can I change the layout of the first screen that appears when I click on the myAlbum link (in my case it is which ever page is called when http://www.lost-doggies.com/modules/myalbum/ is entered)? In other words, which file is it I need to adjust? The index.html file does not appear to have any settings options because of the block structure of Xoops.

Thanks

I can't understand what you want.

If you want to change an externals, edit myalbum*_index.html in your template.

Do you know how to use template manager of XOOPS?

- copy template set from default to new name in template manager
- set default template set as the new template set in preferences
- edit myalbum_*.html in the new template set in template manager
(don't edit original template file)

Of course, some skills about HTML are needed.

If you mean changing the layout radically, you have to hack php files (index.php etc...)

I have cloned my templates etc and know how to use the template manager so that is OK.

What I want to do is remove the hyperlink to the two graphics files on the main page because they appear to be invalid, and do not fit in well with the layout of my catergories and my chosen theme (see here http://www.lost-doggies.com/temp_graphics/Graphic1.jpg).

Could you tell me where in the myalbum*_catergories.html file I would find these references and how to remove them?

One last thing - why are there 'sets' of 'myalbum*...html files?

I've done it now - worked out in the end. Successfully did it via the Templates area of the Xoops system.

Thanks for your help.
