Installed perfectly - but nobody can upload pictures!

It also says 'no registered users'

How do people register to use the album?? I've searched everywhere I can think of but can find no way to let other people - *OR* myself upload photos?? Using version 2.5

Help please!!

hi skyrider.

At first, you'd better to update myAlbum-P into 2.83, because I've forgot the code of 2.5

If you didnot upload many photos, new installation is better than upgrading.

After you update myAlbum-P, add some permissions into users by editing "group permission" in myAlbum-P's preferences.

THanks GIJOE,

I upgraded as you suggested - but still can't see anything about 'group permissions' anywhere.

Where should I be looking? It isn't in the Config Options.

It's my typo.

"group permission" in myAlbum-P's preferences admin.

You can see "global permissions" in top menu of admin.

You can add permissions from there.

Ok - maybe I'm being a bit dozy

I opened the System Admin in the Control Panel and set Registered Users to be able to see/use all parts of myAlbum - but still the module itself shows no registered users and won't allow me to upload photos.

I even gave registered users 'admin rights' and it *still* won't show anyone as registered!

I can't see an "admin" section specific to myAlbum other than the Config page so what am I doing wrong?

I gave up and installed xcGallery - it's still in beta but at least it works.

Thanks anyway.

Yes. xcgal is a really good module and it's stable enough.
bye
