I don't have much experience with Xoops and I needed to do some modification to an existing website. So far, I have been able to do most of it.

but now, as simple as it may sound I'm stuck. I need to enable View-only access to MyAlbum module to Anonymous user?

is it possible? I tried enabling the "View Rate" privileges for every group of user without success. I then browse the code, trying to locate the permission stuff for the MyAlbum module, but I can't find anything.

does the method checkAccess() is overloaded by the MyAlbum module? or how can I simply control who can View the photos on my site? right now, I think only the admin can access it.

ok I found it.

I was looking at the MyAlbum Module permission preferences. but the actual permission I was looking for was in the Groups settings.
