I have tried installing this but it does not appear on the modules page.

I installed to
/modules/wraps/

(Installing to modules/html/modules/wraps gives an error on the modules page.)

/xoops_trust_path/modules/
/xoops_trust_path/wraps/
/xoops_trust_path/wraps/whip_cream

I am unclear about step 2.
(2) name the directory name as you like. (eg. mycompany)
What directory and where do I put it?

If you want to install wraps as whip_cream ...

copy html/modules/wraps in the archive as
XOOPS_ROOT_PATH/modules/whip_cream

copy xoops_trust_path/modules/wraps in the archive as
XOOPS_TRUST_PATH/modules/wraps

mkdir
XOOPS_TRUST_PATH/wraps/whip_cream

copy html or images into
XOOPS_TRUST_PATH/wraps/whip_cream/

According to this, everything is installed in
XOOPS_TRUST_PATH/
nothing is installed in /modules/???
Is that right?

OK, sorry my mistake. I did all that, and fixed it. But it's still not showing up in the modules.

work for XOOPS 2.0.15?

Maybe that's the problem. At the bottom of my Modules screen I see "Module Version Action " But no modules.

And after making the change from /modules/wraps/ to /modules/whip_cream/ my modules screen loads very slowly and I get an apache error.

Maybe I better wait until you have a working version for Xoops 2.0.15

wraps can work with 2.0.15 only after patching this.

I did that, and it didn't work.

I even cut n paste the entire script into resource.db.php.

I ended up getting this error

Error: Smarty error: [plugin] function smarty_resource_db_source() not found in /class/smarty/xoops_plugins/resource.db.php (core.load_resource_plugin.php, line 61)

OK, I got it working.
