Hi There

For some strange reason Protector is telling me:

'register_globals' : on Not secure

'allow_url_fopen' : on Not secure

'session.use_trans_sid' : on Not secure

Yet, register_globals & session.use_trans_sid are both off by default in the default php.ini file

Any ideas why these results would show.

As for 'allow_url_fopen', where would i find the httpd.conf file as this one didnt show in the php.ini file and dont want to edit the php.ini file till i'm sure that it hasnt been placed in the httpd.conf file.

They are my only gripes at the moment as install went smoothly.

I put in a php file with the php info line into my webspace root folder and your right.

It says that all of them are on.

Contacted host yesterday and they admitted that it was happening apologized said that it was because i turned on CGI management.

I've contacted them with the information they asked for so that they can assist me further. Will wait and see what the response is.
