I'd like to adjust MyAlbum so that when a user submits a picture, the 'Notify me when a new comment is posted' is automatically ticked. On my Lost-Doggies web site, lots of my users are submitting pictures but then never seeing the comments made by other users because they do not realise they can tick the tick box to be notified of such comments. If I could turn it on by default, they'd get notified.

Sorry - I was not suggesting a version release or anything. I was just wondering if there was a bit of code somewhere that I could adjust (for example changing a particular value from 0 to 1 or something) so that it was ticked by default?

I assumed it would be quite straight forward to change what is presumebly a default setting somewhere from 0 to 1, or false to true, or something? Is that not the case?

5 years after asking this question, the need is still there and I'm not good enough at PHP to work it out Any help appreciated.
