for example if a site has 3000 news and i use this module.all the 3000 news reads by the xhld or not?
the reason is if i use a filter regex it is possible to find it in the rather old news

xhld just stores filtered feeds by regex.
Thus, if the feed has great items, there are much smaller items stored in your DB with appropriate filter by regex.
