There is no way to accomplish this in Xoops 2.0 I don't think, and your mod does not see the timezone correctly, no matter how it is set up.

Is there no code which will allow the poster to determine the timezone always displayed for the event?

You should confirm timezones of your XOOPS and you, again.

piCal refers the timezones.

Of course, you can set timezones per event.
But you can look the event in your timezone.

Xoops and my server are synchronized perfectly. How can I set the default timezone to US Central Time for all events regardless of user setting?

Xoops 2.0.13.1

Timezone of the server (winter): -6.0
Timezone of the server (summer): -5.0
Zonename of the server: CDT
The value of XOOPS config: -5.0
The value of piCal using: -5.0

Events Timezone Changes (-14.0×14.0)
There is no error with tables or records.

So why does the calendar module, and ONLY the calendar module change the display time for anonymous user?

They are just "timezones of the server".
You have to set user's timezone - You and Guests(default).

I don't find any way to do that (other than core Xoops preferences which are set correctly) in Xoops 2.0.13.1. Is there a way to completely disable the use of times entirely and ask the posters to simply note the time in the postings on the calendar?

Either that, or set the ALWAYS time of the calendar to a particular zone. (ALL EVENT TIMES ARE IN X TIME XONE) regardless of the system or user settings?

Thank you for your help and for your great work on Xoops and related modules. Your work is quite impressive.
