と、書いたら、さっそく再現しました。
原因も判りました。
プラグインのバグですね。

こういう真っ白画面じゃ、そりゃ困るだろう、と私の方でざっと修正してみました。
0.87aの中のプラグインは修正済ですので、上書きしてください。

とりあえず、３人くらいから同じレポートが来たので、1.42を探し出して入れてみましたが、問題なく動いてますよ。

- プラグインはどっちなのか blogid or date
- 権限設定はどっちをえらんでいるのか

このあたりが不可欠な情報でしょう。

$mydirnameのバッティング問題、というだけであれば話は簡単で、プラグイン側でそのあたりの処理をいれるだけです。

いずれにせよ、このプラグインはtohokuaikiさん本人がつくったものであり、1.42自体配布が終了しているバージョンなので、これ以上は私には無理ですね。

Im have the same problem with the piCal-plugin-manager and weBLog 1.42 and only the Block "MiniCalendarEx (piCal)". I activate this block, then I see only a white side from xoops.

根本的な解決策ではないのですが、modules/weblog/config.phpを編集することでエラーを回避することにしました（manythankstosishii）。

30行あたりに
$mydirname = "weblog" ;
を追加、

120行あたりの
$mydirname = $GLOBALS['mydirname'] ;
をコメントアウトし、
$mydirname = "weblog" ;
を追加。

本質的な解決策など、ご教授いただければ幸いです。

PHPデバッグはOFFにしてみましたか？
そして何より、権限は反映されていますか？
