The default jscalendar (from class\jscalendar) seems to be incompatible with piCal 0.84.
I initially used it instead of the common\jscalendar and that caused my site to crash after every single attempt to insert a new event.....
(using common\jscalendar solves the issue though, so just take this as a warning)
