Hi,
I think that adding a category description would be quite useful. May times photos in a category are from an event for which you want to provide some background information and some links.
This description should show up only when you view the category.

Actually you could add several description like fields to categories. For example a header and a footer that will be repeated for every image in that category. This will allow to add a specific copyright notice for example...

Hi Gijoe,
If I modify the latest version of myAlbum-P to support category descriptions would you consider merging my code with the main trunk?
The major problem I guess is the fact you have to modify the database structure. If you would rather not do this for version 2.x then I will just wait for the next version this fall.
