Problem of Installing Protector
msg# 1
Hi, all
I took over a semi finished Xoops site. I didn't find the veriosn infomation for it. I installed the Protector 2.57. But when I click "Protect Centor", the system hinted that the /include/cp_header.php is needed. I copied the cp_header.php from Xoops 2.0.16 for my site.
Then, when I clicked the "Protect Centor", "Security Advisory", and "Prefix Manage", blank pages appeared.
I found that my Xoops system hasn't /kernel/ directory.
And the content of the mainfiile.php is :
////////////////////////
<?php
if ( !defined('XOOPS_MAINFILE_INCLUDED') ) {
define('XOOPS_MAINFILE_INCLUDED', 1);
// Physical Path
// Physical path to your main directory WITHOUT trailing slash
define('XOOPS_ROOT_PATH', 'c:/xampp/xampp/htdocs/hawa');
// Virtual Path (URL)
// Virtual path to your main directory WITHOUT trailing slash
define('XOOPS_URL', 'http://localhost/hawa');
// Database
// Choose the database to be used
$xoopsConfig['database'] = 'mysql';
// Table Prefix
// This prefix will be added to all new tables created to avoid name conflict in the database. If you are unsure, just use the default 'pop'.
$xoopsConfig['prefix'] = 'hawa';
// Database Hostname
// Hostname of the database server. If you are unsure, 'localhost' works in most cases.
$xoopsConfig['dbhost'] = 'localhost';
// Database Username
// Your database user account on the host
$xoopsConfig['dbuname'] = 'hawa';
// Database Password
// Password for your database user account
$xoopsConfig['dbpass'] = 'hawa';
// Database Name
// The name of database on the host. The installer will attempt to create the database if not exist
$xoopsConfig['dbname'] = 'hawa';
// Use persistent connection? (Yes=1 No=0)
// Default is 'Yes'. Choose 'Yes' if you are unsure.
$xoopsConfig['db_pconnect'] = 1;
// Default setup language.
$xoopsConfig['default_language'] = 'schinese';
if ( XOOPS_ROOT_PATH == '' ) {
if ( @file_exists('_install/index.php') ) {
header('Location: _install/index.php');
exit();
}
}
include_once(XOOPS_ROOT_PATH.'/include/common.php');
}
?>
///////////////////////
I think somebody who are familiar with the Xoops can judge the version scope of the Xoops system.
Could somebody please tell me how to solve the problem? I think the Protector module is very important to my site.
Thanks in advance!
