Hi,
Thanks for sharing this useful hack.
I'm using Xoops 2.0.13. I did inserted the lines (in 3 files) following the instructions. But the COMMON ones (inserted to theme.html) didn't work. The page is loaded with following lines appear:
"_tpl_vars['xoops_lblocks'] ) ) $this->_tpl_vars['xoops_lblocks'] = array() ;
array_unshift( $this->_tpl_vars['xoops_lblocks'] , array( 'title' => 'Message' , 'content' => htmlspecialchars($_SESSION['redirect_message'],ENT_QUOTES) , 'weight' => 0 ) ) ;
$this->_tpl_vars['xoops_showlblock'] = 1 ;
unset( $_SESSION['redirect_message'] ) ;
}"
Any suggestion on how I suppose to insert the lines?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You need to use the bracket
<{php}>
<{/php}>
to include the php code in theme.html file. Otherwise, php code will not be rendered. Guess GIJOE has assumed everyone knows this without pointing it out.
GIJOE, thanks for the tip.

No, no.
It's a typo
(a mistake about selecting area)
I've just fixed.
I hope this tip helps you.
