From reading every thread in this forum, I can see there are a number of smart people who know how to make the most out of the Protector module. I've read enough that I can probably have a good guess at the solutions, but I was wondering if it were possible to request an in-depth guide how to implement Protector's suggestions - for me and other newcomers to Xoops.
After following the Protector's installation instructions on a fairly new Xoops site, my Security Advisory page says:

hi RolyMo
What part is diffcult for you?
Certainly these options are difficult for PHP begginers.
But it is not a matter of Protector, isn't it?

register_globals
allow_url_fopen
The other options are easy enough, I think.
Anyway, Peter Faulkner is making english document of Protector.
Just wait

Thank you for the reply.
There appears to be nothing wrong with the installation or the module itself as far as I know. I understand that the module is suggesting that I modify my Xoops installation... I just am not 100% how to do everything it suggests.
I openly admit to my lack of knowledge in this field. I am just a guy trying to make a website about something I know more about. But I have read enough (particularly your emphatic demonstration on the
Xoops.org forum) to realise a need for your product. I am looking forward to knowing how to use Protector to its potential!

I will wait for the document in English.
