Perhaps this directive prevents myAlbum-P from uploading photos.
I think open_basedir should also include /tmp/ .
You can claim it to the administrators.

Thanks
But the administrator told me that is not safe to include /tmp/ T.T
Is there any way to modife myAlbum-p to use another tmp_path inside the open_basedir?

I'm sorry that my reply is too late.

The limitation is non-sense.
But criticizing him is more non-sense.

If you can override upload_tmp_dir, you can put .htaccess like this:
php_value upload_tmp_dir /usr/local/www/html/karuna.wayboy.net/tmp
I don't know whether it helps you...

I receive the error:
PHP directive "file_uploads" has to be turned on
I am Running XOOPS 2.0.6 and myAlbum-p 2.6
When I run the 'checkconfigs' the checker output reports that I need to turn file uploads on but how???

hi wiredhead.
If you have the server's admin, edit php.ini.
Else, you can probably set .htaccess like this.

Thank you for replying to my message.
I only have access to files in my directory. The webserver is a commercial Linux server. Question? where do I put the .htaccess file in the directory structure??? In my root directory?
Thank you.

It is better to place .htaccess in your DocumentRoot.
(~/public_html or ~/www etc...)
You can claim it to the servers's administrator.
Since file_upload is basic function for PHP,
this directive should be enabled in php.ini.

"file_uploads" is very basic directive.
Any php scripts can't upload any files, if "file_uploads" is turned off.
Though you put .htaccess, you still see "file_uploads off".
If it is true, you'd better to quit the service.
With the service, nobody can use uploading features.
