Sorry ... this may be caused by Renaldos ShortURLs ... but these are the problems I am having.

Posting ... no preview, cannot insert image, don't know where images should be uploaded to.

Viewing ... in the blocks template it looks like you can "go to next" or "go to previous" but it doesn't show up on the page.

Print ... doesn't display site or page URL

Email ... opens my mail program (OE) with my Default email address showing. Shouldn't it be with my site accounts email?

Suggestions??
Peter

P.S. Other than these few little problems ... I think the TinyD 2.05 module is great.

I went back and tried using Simplified URLs ... this time I got it to work. Go figure.

Solved some of the problems ... Print page has the links to the site & page now.

I know where the images go ... but it still won't give me a list so I have to input the image URL manually.

Preview now stays on same page instead of knocking me back to the Home page.

Peter

P.S. And I am an idiot. The Next & Previous links do show up when I set the Preferences correctly.

hi Peter.

I know ShortURLs harms some features of my modules.
eg) piCal didnot work with ShortURLs at all.

SimplifiedURLs by suin is modified version for solving the problems. (suin is also a user of TinyD)

It is important to change the separator '-' to '+' for some modules.

Do you mean SPAW's image?
If so, upload images to image manager before you use SPAW.

And I can't understand what you mean about Preview.
Does it work correct or not?

Preview ... I cannot get it to work at all.

I am still trying to figure out how to work everything in XOOPs. Did not know I had to upload images in ImageManager ... Sorry

Even SimplifiedURLs harms TinyD's preview, I think.

And I now remember SimplifiedURLs harms SPAW's image manager.

I recommend you to copy contents from local XOOPS without SimplifiedURLs to global XOOPS with SimplifiedURLs.

hi Peter.

I mean you'd better construct a local XOOPS site for testing purpose.

XSAS is a good choice for Windows users.

I think its too late for me to do that

I am finding ways to "work around" the difficulties I am having with TinyD.

As I mentioned ... I think its a fantastic module ... and I now have 10 copies of it on my online website

Question though ... if I want more TinyD modules working on my site ... can I just add more templates etc ? or is 10 the max?

Thanks
Peter

hi Peter.

You can use TinyDs with 100 or 1000 instances

How to create tinyd101

copy:
sql/tinycontent.sql -> sql/tinycontent101.sql
templates/tinycontent_index.html -> templates/tinycontent101_index.html
templates/tinycontent_print.html -> templates/tinycontent101_print.html
templates/blocks/tinycontent_nav_block.html -> templates/blocks/tinycontent101_nav_block.html

edit:
sql/tinycontent101.sql
CREATE TABLE tinycontent101 (

Is this only needed for more than 100 or I have to do this if I need more than 10. Thx.

hi xueming.

I think that how to add more 10 instances is not so difficult.
What's wrong with you ?
