Hi

If you are installing for the first time, please try to follow this guide. I copied quite a lot of info from Madsen and then added my thoughts as a new user!

1. Make sure you do not have Tiny Content installed at all.
2. Download and unzip TinyD to a local folder.
3. Copy the folder you have just created and give it a new name: tinycontent0
4. Repeat step 3 for as many TinyD's as you might need. Make sure you give each one a new name: tinycontent1, tinycontent2 and so on...
5. Now transfer these to your server and place them in your modules folder.

IMPORTANT... Make sure you have no existing copy of Tiny Content loaded as this will ensure that this hack does not work.

6. On your server you should now have in your modules folder a series of modules named tinycontent, tinycontent0, tinycontent1, tinycontent2, etc...
7. Now go to admin menu and install your modules as usual. Install in the correct order, rename as desired and add content.

I am currently trialing on my home server but will upload to my on-line server as soon as possible. The url will be http://www.lostwithiel.org.uk/. Keep checking.

This is an excellent hack and will work fine as long as you remember only to use this download and don't get it confused with the original Tiny Content download.

To check that you have this download, you need to open file xoops_version.php in your tinycontent directory. If you can find __FILE__ , it's duplicatable version. Otherwise, it must be the original version, i.e. it can't be duplicated).

hi rich.

Thank you for writing such a good usage.
It is very useful.

but 1 point should be modified.

Although Chapi's TinyContent is installed, it is not necessary to uninstall it.
All you have to do is overwriting whole of modules/tinycontent/ .
Of course, restore modules/tinycontent/content/* if they exist.
