Hello xoops & Peak community!

using cube I installed a module that required
 class 'XoopsPersistableObjectHandler'

I read where it was or may have been defined in xoops2.
But i do not believe it is defined in cube.

I installed xcal in hopes it would define the missing class but no luck.

Class 'XoopsPersistableObjectHandler' in xoop cube?

I don't know the class, and I've never used it.
(I always create/maintain modules can work all XOOPS forks & folks)

I've just examined...

The class was defined in XOOPS 2.2 firstly.
And phppp added it into XOOPS 2.3 origined from 2.0.x

Class 'XoopsPersistableObjectHandler' in xoop cube?

Then the module "xcal" will work only with XOOPS 2.2/2.3

Of course, XCL have not it.
It cannot work even with ImpressCMS.

well that explains why xcal module didnt work correctly.

I was trying to install another module called "profile", this one is different from the "profile" module now required for cube in the new release.

I renamed this "profile" module to "social" and tried to install. it alerted me that class 'XoopsPersistableObjectHandler' is undefined. Its obviously not for cube but figured I would try anyway.

I wanted this certain module because I was looking for a "friend" buddy type system for cube that allows you to add friends and (important) see when they are online. The "whos online" system is not buddy orientated, and it does not seem to work very well.

Thanks for your previous response.

ps. marijuana does great work too!

cheers
