Hi GIJOE .

there is another feature i would like to see in protector , its Ban the Offline browsing Software's . or some they call them Site Copiers .. such As Teleport Pro . the Reason to block them , because they steal files that u dont want shar with every one or get information or videos , Audios on ur site that u dont want Share it with public but ur members .

this Programs , copy the whole website , so if u have paid theme , copyrighted Software, Video , audio , Doc .. they will be downloaded without ur permision ..Of course unless u have them outside the Site root .

You Can Make a Black List of thier User Agent to be blocked , i know there so many programs and cant ban all but at least ban the most popular..

i have a list of some bad offline browser's programs that i baned them thru Htaccess. if it useful for u i can attach them in next post here .

Cheers

that would be ideal, but i'm sure would be best done using .htaccess instead??

hmmm.
My answer is almost identical to vaughan.

Using .htaccess, you can ban any UAs by regex patterns.

But you should know, "User Agent" is just a self-manifesto.

If you have some "paid themes", protect '*.html' inside themes/ by .htaccess.
