When I tried to login today, I've got this message:

This account is disabled for your IP by Protector

I went to the database and emptied both tables:

_protector_access
_protector_log

but this didn't help. How could it be that it happened, and how can I fix it?

OK, it seems that my Internet provider switched my IP. Since the file "group1ipsXXX" located at

/yourtrustedpath/modules/protector/configs

contained my old IP, I couldn't log in. Once I replaced the IP in this file with my new IP, everything is now working.

hi mamba.

The feature protects you from anonymous user's login as administrator.
If you are trapped by yourself, just remove

XOOPS_TRUST_PATH/modules/protector/configs/group1ips*

This is FAQ.
(It should be documented somewhere ...)
