As topic says i would love to see the categories in a listing view to get an better overview and to move/sort contents/categories easier. One of my projects having +30 Categories which is quite "delicate" to administrate not to mention the loooong pulldown list.

It is easy to display categories as selectbox.
Just edit the template.
