How can I display the year in the coming event list? Now, I only have datenumber and month (11 may, I want: 11 may 2007)

Edit the template of the block.
eg)

<{$event.start|date_format:"%Y-%m-%d"}>

That did it! For me in The Netherlands I use
<{$event.start|date_format:"%d %b %Y"}>
%b gives the month in English, how can I change that to Dutch?
