Hi GI

i've discovered there has been a repeated attempt from the same IP address which is being logged as URI SPAM. In fact its around 4 pages worth.

What should I do?

Should I:

1. Ban the IP address within protector.
2. Ban the IP address within my server OPS.
3. Report the matter to my hosts.

If there is any other advice you can give me it would be appreciated.

Also, what actually happens when a URI SPAM attack happens, what does protector actually do?

As you like
Any method looks OK.

Don't worry about it, because there are too many SPAMMERS in the world.
